The Pathfinder Society will be running games all weekend! If you want to reregister for a specific game, go to the Warhorn site made for Salty Bay Con and do that. Remember that you still need to purchase your ticket to the event separately.

While there are a bunch of cool games on the schedule already, everyone coming to Salty Bay Con 2013 are encouraged to bring their games from home. Do you have a cool new RPG that you haven’t had the chance to try out yet? Finally bought one of your favorite board games and want to play it with a group of people outside your regular circle?
If any of these apply to you, be sure to send a game description to eloy@saltybaycon.com. There’ll be sign-up sheets to fill out to run a new game for anyone who’s interested, if you feel the urge to run something in the spur of the moment. So don’t be afraid to bring your GM hat with you on June 8-9!

I’ve been getting a lot of questions of what exactly the Meal Plan involves, so here’s the skinny.
Ever been a con and then you hear your tummy growl? Then you wonder “what’s around here?” or “what kind of food am I in the mood for?” Well, Salty Bay Con is here to help you out! For $20, you’re covered for the weekend! It includes the following gamer-approved meals:
No need to leave the con! Keep on having fun and we’ll take care of the rest! When you show up, you’ll get 3 meal tickets that you just turn in when we’re serving meals.
Meal 1 – Noon to 1:30pm
Meal 2 – 5pm to 6:30pm
Meal 3 – Noon to 1:30
We have some great games lined up, but could always use some more. GMs for Salty Bay Con 2013 get to come out and support our inaugural convention, but also… you get access to the free stuff. That’s right! Products received from our sponsors will be going to GMs who come out and run even just one game. Of course, if you run more, you have the chance to have your ticket price refunded, so 2 or 3 games is encouraged.

So, the Salty Bay Con staff has spent a lot of time over the last week, checking out locations, working with contracts and planning the organization of the whole shebang. And now, after days and days of conferences and meetings, we are proud to announce that Registration is now OPEN!
We have 2-day and 1-day tickets, adult and youth tickets, t-shirts of various sizes and a Meal Plan that makes it so you don’t have to forage for lunch and dinner on your own. Tampa Bay has quite a few fine dining establishments, but this way the fun doesn’t have to stop! You will also be able to find information on volunteering your time, if you want to help make this an awesome con. In the grand scheme of things, we are creating an environment of fun and relaxation. It is our first outing as a convention, which put us in a unique position to try some new things with the format and the scheduling of it all.
